One of my favorite things as an entrepreneur is creating a community for business individuals to connect and flourish over the years.
As social media marketers, we have an "always-on" attitude, and our managers have their thumbs on the pulse of what's trending right now. There is an expectation to produce at our highest level with the weight of the world on our shoulders. It's our responsibility that we stay true to our clients and continue to promote their business. Every internal and external company image, client-customer relationship, and vendor relationships play a part in being is genuinely respected and expected.

During 2020, we have learned a lot about ourselves, including pivoting and adjusting our business model. We have learned to encourage and stay positive even when there is a lot of negativity. Our goal is to display ourselves with a respectful attitude and conduct ourselves professionally, even when off duty.
We encourage you to portray yourself in the manner of how you represent your business. Be mindful of the tone of what you share and comment on and encourage others that interact with you to do the same. Balance your time that's spent on social media vs. real-world connections. Use your time wisely and plan your discussions off-line.
It can consume your thoughts and overwhelm you. In my best southern accent, "slow your roll." or you can hear me say, "cool your chops."
